My exposure to address the search issues faced by young graduates, most specifically, during my tenure of almost 10 years as Vice Chancellor of different universities has helped me to conceptualize the fact that colleges and universities should plan in such a manner that their students could get access to the courses aimed at building industry relevant specialized skills which can be delivered over academic semesters or in other words, the gap between theory and applications is minimised. I tried various industry honour courses from different development companies and the rigorous efforts culminated in selection of TCS iON Industry Honour Course for the students of ITM which could enable the students of this college to be transformed into experienced freshers from learners. Here students have the option of immersive and experiential learning programme construct stitching together both digital and physical pedagogical components which shall provide them the flexibility based on their interests, availability of time and aspirations.
